Made Real Lab brought together experts in IoT, Connectivity and V2X technology to work together with hardware manufacturers to bridge the gap between innovative concept of Safe Roads and enterprise-level scalability. Using the idea of a connected emergency vehicle that forces a green light at an intersection, our hybrid team of software and hardware engineers designed, developed and conducted field tests to apply the concept in the real world. As the emergency vehicle siren is turned on, a signal is sent to the nearest intersection traffic light, which in turn sends a green wave in the required direction of travel.
